Censorship in ByNet
On February 1, Alyaksandr Lukashenka signed a decree imposing censorship on the Internet. The decree takes effect on July 1. Reporters without Borders, an international human rights organization, states Belarus will be put on the list of Enemies of the Internet, joining such countries as China, North Korea, Burma, and Iran. Will Belarusian Internet users be able to defend their right to receive and give free information?
