Lukashenka had a rest

Belarusian dictator has returned to Belarus after a two-week absence.

The state of head is expected to have a number of meetings on February 6, Lukashenka’s press service informs.

The press service does not report when Lukashenka returned home, but according to unofficial information he came back to Minsk on Saturday: a BelaPAN correspondent saw the presidential motorcade on the way to Minsk National Airport at noon on February 4.

There were no official statements on Lukashenka’s departure. On January 24, the presidential press service reported the head of state was on a working visit to the Russian Federation and had had a meeting with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev at Krasnaya Polyana Russian ski resort on January 23.

As reported by the press service, the parties discussed “a wide range of issues concerning Belarus-Russia cooperation, including bilateral trade and economic relations, strengthening of the Belarus-Russia Union State, the development of cooperation in the Single Economic Space, joint response to modern challenges and threats, and some other important issues on the bilateral and international agenda”.

The Kremlin press service did not inform about a meeting of Medvedev and Lukashenka.
