Representative of Minsk terrorist attack victim detained

Alyaksandr Kruty was detained in Minsk in the evening of September 20 for unclear reasons.
He represents interests of his daughter Innesa, a victim of the blast on April 11, at the trial over the terrorist attack in the Minsk metro.
As Inessa Krutaya told BelaPAN news agency, her father called her at about 8 pm and said he had been detained and taken to the Maskouski district police department. He did not say anything about grounds for his detention. His relatives cannot get any information.
The location of Alyaksandr Kruty remains unknown. He may be either in the Maskouski district police department or in the detention centre.
Alyaksadnr Kruty was an active participant of the trial. He filed a motion to delay court proceedings until the death penalty is abolished in Belarus, an institution of jury is formed and involved into a legal proceeding.
Inessa Krutaya appeared in the court for the first time today. She plans to appeal to judge asking to suspend the proceedings until her father appears in court again as her representative. Inessa Krutaya cannot visit trials because she got serious injuring in the terrorist attack.
As later relatives of Kruty learnt, he is charged with hooliganism (part 1 of article 339 of the Criminal Code). Policemen refused to give more details. His family was told that a question of a measure of restraint for him will be considered in the evening September 21.
