New Polish ambassador to arrive to Minsk in autumn

A new ambassador is to take charge of the Polish Embassy only in autumn.
“A candidate for this position and day what the new ambassador is to arrive to Minsk have been defined already , however I cannot tell the name before the official communiqué,” the diplomat noted. “I would not like to repeat rumours which exist. There is a candidate, and the name of the new ambassador is to be stated in autumn definitely. Now the duties of the ambassador are performed by counsellor Witold Jurasz. Everyine met recalling of the previous Ambassador Henryk Litwin with understanding,” Radio Racyja was told by the first counsselor of the Embassy Pawel Marczuk.
After the plane crash in Smolensk Henryk Litwin was nominated to the position of the Undersecretary of state at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland. He replaced succeed Andrzej Kremer who died in the catastrophe in Smolensk.
