Bashar Assad to visit Belarus

The President of the Syrian Arab Republic plans to visit Belarus in the nearest time.
BelTA learnt this from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Syria to Belarus Faruq Taha.
The parties intend to discuss the whole range of the Belarusian-Syrian relations.
We remind that Belarusian Foreign Minister Syarhei Martynau paid a visit to Syria and had talks with Bashar Assad in June this year. The parties expressed their mutual interests in further dialogue at top level, defined basic directions of cooperation that should be given more attention. It was noted that a list of specific bilateral projects in different spheres would be prepared by the visit of the Syrian leader to Minsk.
