Film dedicated to heroism of Autukhovich (Photo, video)

Travelling Trough Endless War film, dedicated to political prisoner Mikalai Autukhovich, was presented in the headquarters of BPF party in Minsk on November 10.
The event attracted over 60 people, among them former political prisoners Uladzimir Asipenka and Alyaksandr Kazulin.
As film director Volha Mikalaichyk noted in an interview to BelaPAN news agency, the movie was a difficult task for her. The film shows Mikalai Autukhovich as a soldier who served in Afghanistan, as a successful businessman. The movie tells how the Belarusian authorities destroyed his business and fabricated two criminal cases against him.
“I am happy I made this film. I was very hard for me to see tears of Autukhovohc’s mother, his daughter during the film shooting and editing. It’s hard to work with this material when you see that their husband and father may be rotted in prison for nothing,” Mikalaichyk said.
“It was hard morally, psychologically and physically,” she added.
“I was encouraged by the fact that Belarus has its heroes and the people who managed to defend these heroes, who didn’t allow them to die in prisons. Any modern nation would be proud of such heroes and defenders of heroes,” Mikalaichyk said.
